DEHRADUN

The project brief was to make a swimming pool that was open to the sky yet private, due to the site being located in a residential area.

This requirement was converted to a design element by adding a peripheral wall with arches in brick and stone cladding which enhance the aesthetic sensibilities.

There are structural provisions for covering the pool, and heating. Including a spectators gallery, semi-basement for changing rooms and a filtration plant room.

The structure thus created makes this block an integral part of campus (Naurauli House) but with a unique identity of its own.
