Welham Boys' School - Amphitheater

DEHRADUN

The open-air Amphitheater has a capacity of 1200, replete with a stage at two levels and changing rooms.

The Opera-style lower level of the stage has been planned for percussion instruments, while the upper part is for stage performances.

The Backstage area is designed on two levels in a Greco-Roman theatre style, with a roof on top which can also double up as an addition to the performance area.

Foam concrete used is in the risers enhances the acoustics of the outdoor space. The existing steps of the LRC block have been integrated into the planning of the Amphitheatre.
