LBSNAA being the premier Academy for the future bureaucrats of the country had to address the task of giving the Trainee Officers an invigorating architectural experience in their formative years.A three Storied building emulating the natural landscape plays with the contours creating a visual link to the site conditions to the ecological and cultural contexts by use of materials and formal compositions.

In line with this intention, the project consisted of maintaining the original architectural style of the hilly terrain on the outside, while inside the spaces were readapted to current standards of comfort and living, marked by contemporary minimalism.

This landmark building complex incorporates implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, water sustainability and waste management systems.
This unique outdoor setting offers a natural surrounding nestled among the pine forest and includes concrete bench seats, plantation of local varieties of plants and flowering shrubs, gazebos and a terrace garden with breathtaking viewpoints of the snow capped Himalayas.
