Lal Bahadure Shastri National Academy of Administration - A.N. Jha Landscape Plaza

MUSSOORIE

This space was created as an innovative solution to an interesting problem. The various blocks on campus were on separate natural contours of the land with a steep difference in approach height. 

An amphitheatre planned in the Plaza acts as an access point connecting these differently situated blocks of the campus.

As a spatial figure, the plaza is generated from elements of the landscape – the depression, the slope, the incision, the hillock – and the steep contoured natural landscape.
