A prominent personality Padma Shri Dr. Jain’s brief was to have a palatial home with a prominent double-height entrance foyer. Basic principles of Vaastu have been considered for the placement of the master bedroom, kitchen, and pooja room.

A large sitting room with an expansive lobby leads to the rear verandah and the garden. The Structure has been designed in the colonial style of architecture which was predominant in Dehradun. The use of cornices, circular columns, pilasters, and window fenestration is the predominant design feature.

Consideration of light and ventilation is paramount in the planning principles.
